The Golden Triangle's Final Leg

The Jaipur–Agra route is one of India's most popular outstation cab journeys, forming the third leg of the classic Golden Triangle tour: Delhi → Agra → Jaipur (or reverse). Thousands of tourists complete this route every month.

Distance and Travel Time

Jaipur to Agra is approximately 240 km via NH21. The drive takes 4–5 hours without stops in normal traffic, or 6–7 hours with a stop at Fatehpur Sikri.

Best Route: NH21 via Dausa–Bharatpur

Take NH21 via Dausa → Bharatpur → Agra. This is the fastest and best-maintained route. The NH21 route has multiple toll plazas (₹300–400 total for a sedan, typically included in your cab fare).

Stopover: Fatehpur Sikri (Highly Recommended)

Fatehpur Sikri is a UNESCO World Heritage Site 40km before Agra — the abandoned Mughal capital built by Akbar in 1571. Entry: ₹40 (Indians), ₹610 (Foreigners). Allow 1.5 hours.

Booking Tips
